Eliminating Low Value Healthcare (a.k.a. Waste)

January 16 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

One in every six dollars flowing through the American economy is going to healthcare, and more than 30 percent of those dollars are wasted on low-value care or administrative waste. Current payment systems provide perverse incentives that reward this waste and do not reward high value care. If we are to achieve better and more affordable healthcare we must reduce this waste, which requires better data, strong multi-stakeholder collaboration, and changes in how we pay providers.

Please join us as we start the conversation on eliminating waste, and making the health care system more efficient and affordable.

*Elizabeth Mitchell, President and CEO of NRHI, will facilitate a robust discussion featuring guest speakers:

*Joshua Rosenthal, Chief Scientific Officer, RowdMap
