Changing SIM Measurement Period

In response to SIM practice, CHITA, and
stakeholder feedback, the SIM Office is
changing the measurement period for CQM
reporting. Starting with Q1 2017 reporting
(due April 30, 2017), SIM practice sites will
report using either a trailing year or
year-to-date measurement period.
This approach aligns with other initiatives,
such as CPC+ and MACRA QPP, and is
intended to ease the reporting burden
for SIM practice sites.
